This was my second time seeing Chevelle. This band has been one of my favorites for a long time so I may be biased but they played an amazing show. They didn't waste our time with loads of talking like The Used did. After The Used finished playing most songs they had something to say. Half the time we were just listening to them talk. It took away from some precious headbanging time but overall they were good, when they were playing a song that is. Chevelle had finished playing their setlist (with the Encore left) when we were informed by the concert staff that someone was seriously injured so the show ended without an encore :/ Both shows had good sound and even better lighting.

Pretty good

It was pretty good. Chevelle does a great job. It was good to see sick puppies again. My feedback is that Chevelle's tempo was too slow. They were playing the songs very slow rather than the tempo of their albums. Also feedback for the venue is that the sound wasn't turned up enough. I was close to stage but it wasn't nearly loud enough. I'm sure this is because it was an outdoor concert late at night and they have two stages with country bands playing on the other. So they probably don't want to compete with each other. But it really needed to be louder. final feedback is for the audience. They just weren't really getting into it until the very end. Perhaps there wasn't enough beer flowing due to the obnoxious long lines at the only beer tent but both bands had to try really hard to get the crowd involved. Just didn't feel like a normal rock show. Otherwise it was great in that they played all their good songs. They still "got it".
